my locks

how do i lock the tail gate/lift glass because my power locks doesnt

Insert your key and turn it until it locks.

It may or may not have a keyed lock on it. Mine does not. To the OP, if yours is like mine, then I know of no way to lock it unless you repair the power lock system.

If none of your locks work then start by checking the power locks fuse and relay. If it is just that one lock then you are probably gonna have to tear into the tailgate and replace the solenoid.

it doesnt lock when i put the key in and turn it either way it just opens the glass or tail gate

Are you talking about a First Gen or Second Gen. If a first gen then it is technically locked when closed, you cannot turn the latch to open the glass hatch without the key.

Ok, now i'm confused what do you mean it just stays open?
When you shut the glass portion it doesn't latch and you can just pull it open? Or it latches but you can turn the latch and open the glass portion?
