Need some help.
I got a 1994 s10 Blazer Tahoe LT 4.3 vortec. I have done a full tune up from front to back. Fuel pump, fuel filter, distributor cap, rotor button, spark plugs, and wires, and valve cover gaskets. I was driving one day it started sputtering and missing like it was starving for fuel. But when I'd hit the gas and accelerate it would smooth out and take off. When crusing foot barely in throttle and when engine is warmed up is when it does it and above 15 mph. It idles fine and dont miss. Does anyone have any ideai??? I'm stumped and don't know what else to check.
not sure if it will help but my Vin is 1GNDT13W1R2177051
It has a throttle body and not the "spider" fuel system

I'm just guessing but you might wish to try replacing the TPS (throttle position sensor).
It's right on the side of the throttle body.
My truck was acting up and I was told this was a good chance.
When I went to remove it, it fell apart in my hands.
I then knew I had to put the new one in.
The engine runs much better now.
Good luck.

Being a '94, it should be the CPI fuel system as TBI wasn't used very much in the s-series suvs after the CPI engine came out. To be able to tell, the TBI system will have the air cleaner on top of the engine while the CPI engine will have it off to the side of the engine behind the radiator core support. Attached is a picture of a CPI engine bay.
The reason I ask for this clarification is because the CPI engine does have a spider which can be quite problematic and is very sensitive to fuel pressure. Diagnosis can be quite different between the TBI & CPI systems.
Let us know!
