You'll need to bring #1 cylinder up on compression stroke and line the mark on the balancer to TDC on the timing tab. Remove #1 spark plug and bump the engine slowly till it blows out the plug hole. Turn the crankshaft by hand to Line the mark up to TDC. With the distributor cap removed the rotor is now at a location for #1 plug wire. If you got the distributor off when you installed it, you can now use this location for #1 plug wire. Then just follow the Firing order clockwise around the cap with the rest of the wires.

When you get ready to set the timing with a timing light to get it perfect in time, there is a wire under the carpet on the passenger side floor. Pull down the carpet top edge under the dash below the glovebox an you will see a single wire with a splice plug sticking out of a bundle of wires. Disconnect the plug to set the timing with a timing light. When you get it set, plug the plug back together.
