Default No Power

I have a 94 S-10 blazer. I have no power at all anywhere, light wont work when i open my door, head lights wont turn on, nothing. I was replacing my starter and when i was hooking the battery back up it sent a surge through my system now nothing works. All the fuses in are fine under my dash. Is there a master 1 under the hood somewhere or something. Anyone have any ideas.

Default RE: No Power

You have either blown or disconnecteda fusable link. These are wired directly to the starter solenoid, they are just a small cylindrical piece of plastic made into the wire....there are probably 3 or 4 of them on your truck, so youneed to test each of them....you can tell if they are bad by simply pulling on them....if they stretch out then they are blown...you can buy a replacement at a dealer (not sure about autozone etc) it's called fuseable link....or fuseable wire......just so you know it's just another piece of wire that is 4 sizes smaller than the wire it is installed on, so if it is overloaded it will just melt that section out and not the entire circuit.
