Question Plenum off-Questions

Can I spray the inside of the plenum down with carb cleaner?
What about the top of the engine?
More importantly, If it's just the regulator and nut-kit that are leaking, can I just replace them as opposed to the whole spider?
I'm not working full time and money is tight.

Id use brake cleaner to clean it. It evaporates alot faster. yes you can just replace the nut kit and regulator.

Heres a video on the regulator etc. I found it helpful
