Default Power locks not working through Key-Fob

My 94 Bravada has remote power locks (key fob) and sometimes the locks refuse to work. The rear hatch is the same way. If I sit in the truck I can hear something clicking in the dash (relay?) If I hit the hatch button I hear a slightly different sound, but still in a similar area behind the radio/ashtray.

Of course if I hit the power lock switch manually the locks and hatch work correctly.

If I go for a drive most of the time the locks work through the key fob again?

So, anyone know where to start?

Thanks.

Try changing out the batteries on the key fob, if that doesnt help maybe theres a loose wire on the reciever that sometimes makes contact and unlocks them for you. But where the receiver is, I have no clue. Maybe someone else can clue us in on its location

The batteries are fine. I wouldn't come to the forum with something that simple :haha:

I can hear something clicking in the dash when I hit the lock or unlock buttons on the remote. So I know the receiver is getting a signal, so that would tell me the fob is working correctly.
