Same here on my '93 Bravada.

Just a note on the rivets: the ones that hold the regulator to the door are HARD. If you have a die grinder with a cut-off wheel, use that. Otherwise, have several really sharp drill bits so you can swap when they dull. The rivets that hold the motor to the regulator are lighter and easy to drill out.

I don't drill a hole and put a bolt through to hold the spring; I've discovered a C-clamp in the right place, clamped hard, does just fine.

Good advice Leeann_Bravada. I guess I didn't have a problem with the rivets on the door because I used to build airplanes and drilling out rivets for a living must have helped.

One other thing, I know the OP's are stuck in the up position but never ever try and drill out the rivets with the window down unless you want to replace the glass too. If you can't control the drill motor you will punch right through and break the door glass.

I was in the Junkyard picking up a couple sensors for my camaro and scoping out how many blazers there were (over 20!) and I was going to try doing one of the window motors, but then i saw rivets. I should be getting the truck tomorrow, and I'll begin troubleshooting monday probably.

Well, I ended up doing a little troubleshooting, and found out that the proper voltage was getting to the connector at the motor, but the motor wasn't able to move the window. So, I changed the drivers side motor, lubed the slides, and it works very well now. Thanks for all your help. I'll be changing the passenger side motor in a couple days...just wanted to see how it would go before i would buy the other.
