Girlfriend was at school with the jimmy, she came out and went to the gas station and noticed the gas cap was gone, this would not be the first time, when we had the 94 someone siphoned the gas from the truck, I am getting a locking gas cap.

Orielly Offered 2 different kinds, Vented and non vented, Which one should I get for the 93?

Either will work but I would get a vented one. Your ecm isn't gonna care either way but since its not a sealed system its not gonna matter.

Last time I removed my filler hose I installed a thick screen closest to the tank.
This will prevent gas thieves.
