First of all its only been 6 hours since you made that post. Give us some time we have lives too. Second you didn't even give details of what you have tried or anything. Third you realize its against forum rules to start separate threads about the same thing right? There is a little box at the bottom of the page that says "quick reply" use that don't start a new thread. Now please give us some real info and maybe we can help

Sorry for rushing you guys this truck thing gets to me.ill start at the beginning. i was having issues getting my truck started. duo to vacuum line issues. i could not find a diagram of my emissions its Diagram UDW. only 1 that is not in a chiltons or haynes manual cuz i got them both. My 2.8l v6 doesnt have a vacuum advance, but i got it running last nite. to start my truck i have to keep the gas pedal to the floor.so know i got running but i cant take my foot off the gas pedal or it will die.

alot of times thats the result of a vacuum leak as you said you were having vacuum issues thats where i would start. find any vacuum lines and ports that are open and plug them to keep it running, the 2.8 has like 3 billion vacuum lines so should be fun. i eliminated almost all of them since half of them dont do crap.

you sure it dont have vacuum advance, i could have swore my 85 did
