Default rear end gears
how do u find the rear gears i have a 1984 blazer and it is a half ton rear end i just want to no what the stock gears are

check you rpo codes. not sure where they are on an 84

Check for a code on the front side of the axle tube or center section. A dealer should be able to decifer it for you. If all else fails, pull the cover and count them
