so i got a replacement glove box but i needed it rekeyed and lucky for me my dad and grandpa are both licsensed locksmiths so i gave it to them yesterday and today my dad said that he cant find a way to remove the plug from the plastic and he cant drill it because he does not know where to drill at he said its the first one he has seen that did not have a way to seperate the plug. can anyone help?

 

I don't think I've ever pulled apart a lock cylinder from your specific generation, but on some of the older ones I have done, I believe there was a small (very small) retaining pin.

 

When all the parts are taken off, the two tabs (arrow) have to be spread out, then the plug will fall right out....
