Been a while since I've been on, but I'm back. I found out the hard way that I need to do the work my self. Needed new doors, had no spare time. Paid a mechanic to do it, instead of doing it the right way, he chopped the wiring harness, put the new door on, did a sloppy solder job, by sloppy I mean he twisted the wires together then put a huge amount of solder on it, about the size of my thumb. And the two brown wires that are identical was reversed. The driverside window switch worked the locks, the lockswitch did nothing. got the 2 brown wires put together the right way. But the lock switch from the 93 door has a different pin setup then the 94, so i need a new switch. is there a replacement harness i can get, or should i just take everything out through the fender and use butt connectors? Also my brakes were all replaced about three months ago, and the passenger rear drum brake just started squeaking today, what could be causing it? I drive less than a hundred miles a month.

eww,sounds like a mechanic that needs to be placed working on push mowers. If i were you id just use some butt connectors. and for the drum brakes,im not sure. Hopefully someone can chime in.

 

Got the doors wired up after alot of minor cuts, soldering iron burns, and a ton of swearing. FYI when picking up a soldering iron, grab the handle not the tip. Also i looked at the rear brakes, I'm never buying "economy" crap again a little over 2months the brakes lasted, i drive at most 100 miles a month.
