Everyone says Delco. I replaced mine with a Dorman and haven't had any problems so far. New fuel filter is in order here too you know as well as a new pick up screen. Make sure they give you the right pump as a Code W engine takes 55 - 61 PSI to function properly and the sometimes the guy will give you one for a Code Z engine (16 -20 PSI).

Yes double check they give you the correct pump for your engine type. The wrong pump and you wont get enough pressure to start it.

I got a Delphi pump for mine. Works great and puts out the right pressure. It is alot noisier than the old one, but thats good, I know its working. I did the tank, sending unit, and pump in mine, was about $400 total I think.

Put an NAPA pump in mine a few years back, had it go bad at 3 months, and was on a road trip at the time. Napa replaced the pump under warranty, but it cost me a day in the garage of a small town and $300 in labor, plus a motel room. A year and a half later it quit again. Local garage guru said it was needing a Delco. He had one in stock. Charged $150 for the pump installed. No problems for two years.
