Default right rear door rattles when locked. not tight. how to adjust

1994 s-10 blazer, 4 door.

The right rear door when closed and locked will rattle. I found out that the striker on the car will not adjust. i can not move the striker inward.

what can be done to stop the rattle.

I rechecked the latch. no damage . strikerbolt ok.

I took some 3m electrical tape, 2 wraps on striker bolt and no more rattle when locked.

The striker pin can be adjusted in by loosening it, moving it in, then retightening it. Loosening the pin can be a challenge though.
