Default roof rack spare tire mouting

So my 2 dr blazer doesnt have anywhere to mount a roof rack. I whant to install a roof basket so I can mount my spare and some lights up there since I dont have anywhere else to mount it. At first I wanted to install a tailgate type but that looks like alot of work and fabrication to add the oem one not to mention pricey. Seen some bumper mounted type but honestly I like the roof basket alot more since i can attach allot of goodies to it, and they usually mount on custom bumpers. what have you guys done to adress these issues, any pics or suggestions would be great. i have big plans for this little 4x4 and doing this will fit in well with the other mods I plan on doing. i been having hard time finding custom bumpers to.

Well 1st choice would be hitting the wreckers & seeing if any other '93's have roof racks you can get.
Then you'd have to make up a way of mounting the tire to that rack. I've seen many just use 2 ratchet straps.
Possibly look up aftermarket roof racks for a '93 & see if they have options for a tire carrier or at least have a design that could allow something you make to be fabricated into it.
Surco I think makes a lot of roof racks, check them out.

I do plan on going to the wrecker tomorrow if I can and I have seen the universal roof racks online but they mount to the top of the door opening and since i only have two doors it makes it impossible to mount the rear rack lol Thats my problem and I need a solution which looks like welding or screwing something on might be my only option I would just hate to do that

when i did my rear carrier mod it cost me less then 70.00 it think to do it.
if you have no stock rack mounts then i would get some decent sized washers and hardware and put something together.

---------- roof
+++++++ piece of 1/8" steel
== === large washers.

maybe some rubber between the layers to add some protection. what i would do, just requires some drilling. not to bad.
