Default rough running

I have a s10 blazer, 160 ml. Put new carb, plugs, wires and cap on it. Still spitting and sputtering, won't run smoothly. Is there a computer, someone said it might be the chip. Help. Denise

Denise, I moved your post to a new thread to discuss your problems since it sounds like you have a different year than the OP in the topic you originally posted in.

Anyway, we need some more information on your vehicle. Year & engine at a minimum, but any other details pertaining to your vehicle as well as the problem you are experiencing are greatly welcomed!

Was the new carb set right?, Did you knock around the distributor when installing the new carb?, The only real thing effecting a carbed engine in wiring/computers is the choke
