shorted out blazer help

Default shorted out blazer help

i got a 94 blazer and my parking lights dont work............until i press the brakes...its kind of weird. how can i go about fixing it....im not sure where to look but all my fuses are good....any advice would be aprecaited...thanks...

had a 93 with a similar problem once-take the rear taillight out and bare the black ground wire going to the lamps(pkg) and temporarily run another ground. If that works you've lost the ground for that circuit you'll need to run a new one. In my case I just ran a new one within the taillamp cavity. good luck jp ps you may have to do it to both sides!

ok well, its not the ground its the hot wire, i took some speaker wire and hooked it to my batteryto the middle small bulb, which unless im wrong is the running lights, the brake lights and running lights come on on both sides...this is wierd...
