Apparently i bent the lock on the hood when i closed it,starting heading down the road,it flys open and bangs up the grill(around the wipers) and banged up the hinges..So to fix this.....how do i get to the hinges,through the grill or the fenders?

 

The hinges are attached to the fenders.
