spitting and sputtering

Unhappy spitting and sputtering

I have a 1987 s-10 blazer with the 2.8v6 and at 1500 to 2000 rpm is spitts and sputters and acts like is is running out of gas but when i give it more gas it goes on but still spits and sputters after tune up and everything any help would be appreciated

Fuel filter comes to mind or fuel pump, but it could be other things also.

Fuel pump is new not sure bout fuel filter will check if it dont have one do i need one

Possible symptoms...( Distributor / Ignition Control Module & Coil / If you have one Check for an open Vaccum port behind Throttle Body at the Intake Manifold !!!

Another thought that came to mind!!! You may want to check the condition of you intake valves..A burnt intake valve can cause low compression to that cylinder....
