Swapping Dashes?

Swapping Dashes?
Will I be able to switch out a digital dash with a mechanical dash? Will I have to change the wiring? I want to know is that, if I unplug the wiring harness from the back of the digital dash bezel and plug in a mechanical dash bezel, will it work? or do I have to use another digital dash? I'm working on a 1993 S10 blazer that has the digital read out dash, and sometimes it fizzes out. I want to change it out. Thanks for any help. Keep On Wheelin'

there is an ebay company that sells digital dash motherboards for like 60 bucks, they send you the new one and you mail the old one back to them with the stamps they send with it, like you would a core part. i guess the digital dash in the blazers have a bad power converter that burns out alot. same thing happend to my dash, it flickered for a couple months then burned out completely. i have had the refurbished motherboard for two years now no problems. i dont know if you perfer mech gauges but its an easy fix and i think the digital dash looks badass. here is the link http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1989-...Q5fAccessories
