tape cassette problem - 91 S-10 Blazer
Hi there.
I don't know if it's with the recent cold spell but my tape cassette player won't play any cassettes.
I have found it much better than a CD player as i just plug in an MP3 player to one of those tapes with a headphone jack but for about a month or so when i try to insert any tape it just goes: A-side, B-side, A-side, B-side, eject. It doesn't even try to play anymore. Just A-B-A-B-eject every time.
Is this weird? I miss my MP3s.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
J.

Well, personally, I would have changed that to an aftermarket within the week after I got it, but, I would try a new tape adaptor. Maybe make sure the CD player is running when you put the tape in.
But, on the otherhand, I would just go aftermarket. You can get a nice name brand CD/MP3 player for around 100$ with all the install accessories for free at my favorite web site.

I have bought from these people for years now and it is cheaper then any Best Buy or Walmart out there.
It is soo simple you wire the harness adaptor to the new stereo and click it into the wire clips that come out of the factory radio.

Get a cassette cleaner and run it through. Until I found the aftermarket headunit I wanted, I used mine with a cassette adapter and had to clean the deck a few times before it'd work.
