1993 K5 Blazer, lookin to remove the tape deck
Hi Guys... Brand new here.
Just sold my Z-28 and bought a Blazer. Totally stock interior, but i have my Kenwood deck from my Camaro. I'd like to put it in my truck, cause the stock one just doesn't cut it.
I'm sure i could figure it out if I looked, but i wanted to ask how to go about removing the tape deck... What comes off first, whe the bolts are, how do you pull the original deck to plug in the wire harness adapter, you know... the full story.
Thanks!

UPDATE*
So others have probably already figured it out, no one posted back yet so I tore it apart.
This has to be one of the easiest installs ever! The plastic piece with the heater vents in it, around the tape deck just pulls right off, not even one screw. The new adapter has the vent holes in it, you swap your vents and that's it! The stock stereo, i left in it, because Fry's didn't have the new storage piece. It was a bit weird though, the deck has a wire harness that cannot be removed, and the stereos only about 3 inches deep. Both the tape deck and the dec plug into an ECU lloking metal box under the dash near the gas pedal. All you really need to remove is the ashtray, and the tape deck to do the whole install
anyway, that was my few hours of fun. Thought i'd pass it on.
