Default Transmission Electrical

Ok so I just yanked my old engine and have the new one set in and hooked up when I look up and my round transmission plug is off.. no biggy right? I then looked in sheer terror when I saw wires coming out the transmission with pins on them... What do I do next? the green plastic piece for the connector is in my hand

The Transmission is a 4l60E with 4wd and it is in a 93 s10 blazer

This is either gonna work great or this truck is going to the heap as I am tired of its non stop issues. I am going to attempt to solder the pins to some wire and then to a new connector.... Wish me luck Im going to need it.

Just out of curiosity what has to be removed in order to change the plug?
