i have a 91 4.3 4x4 my question is will a transmission from a 94 blazer (4l60e)fit?

i did some reading and the 4l60e is an electric trans correct? some people tell me it will work and some people tell me it wont...i dont want to pull my trans if its not gonna bolt up.
