i was on my way to get gas i was almost out . T the truck stalled on me would not start back up .We pushed it to the gas station then got a tow home

Queston is where should i start, its eteir not geting spark or fuel so how do i check if im geting any of thoses?

how do i test that im geting spark?

 

ok i took the number one plug out and grounded it while my buddy craked it and no spark does this mean i need a new ignition coil?
