Default trying to get codes off '92 blazer...

have been trying to get the codes off my '92 s-10 blazer that is stumbling after 5 or so mins of running.. have been searching here to see any fixes that might be going on..

got a portable code thing from autozone the other day. the guy told me to stick it in a port of some type when the check engine light come on. seem the dam thing comes on at the most stupid time,, heavy traffic etc, and not able to pull over to put the coded thingie in the port.. well the other day it come on and was able to pull over after a couple mins. the CE light had gone off but i put it in slot or ports and got 11, 12,13,14,32 i guess..

I am going off what the autozone guy told me about the blinking lights.. 4-5 quick then 1 or 2 or more slow, then pause, then more lights to count them. then it would blink fast and go to next code or repeat if only one code..

any help appreciated.. and happy new year.

When you attach a obd1 reader,or a paperclip to the top 2 right side clips on the plug in,turn the key on. It will blink once, then twice...meaning 12. (1,2) it will do that i think 3 times. Then it will bink any codes you have a few times, then the next code if you have one etc. then once it blinks 12 again your done.

recheck it. you dont need anything fancy to do it. Just a paperclip. Just dont start the blazer with it in it.
