Is there an easy way to get the plastic off of the gauge cluster? I'm trying to put a chrome accent on it.

What if... just what if you were to dremel out the old gauge surrounds, and put the chrome accent directly on the gauges.... Just a thought... I'll probably do this, I'll get a junk yard cluster and butcher that up.

dremel a slit on the side of the cluster cover and side in the new gauge face cover.

Put guage cluster in your house oven on the lowest setting for an hour. come back in an hour and peel apart. The heat will soften the glue that bonds them together. It worls for taking apart taillights and headlights.
