what would cause this

Ihave a 93 s10 blazer 4x4, and my 4Lo and 4Hi both engage in reverse...what would cause this???

I really think you would have gotten better help if you posted this in the general tech forum. But I would just wait until Kyle or someone moves it there if they decide to do so.
