Default Would this cause a vacuum leak?

The part that usually sits where the red box is broke off of the intake, with that missing do you think it would let air in?

after posting this i realized that air is coming in there anyways so i doubt it will give me the o2 sensor code im getting. im thinking a leak is the culprit

A leak after the MAF will cause a lean code if I remember correctly. Get a decent bonnet with the bracket from a junkyard and see how things go.
