Window Release
I just bought a brand new 1994 Blazer, and basically the only problem is the back window release. When I hit the button, I hear a noise that sounds like a latch, but when I go back to open the window it is still locked. Is there a way to fix this?
it doesn't automatically open up mine does that to were you have to press the button and open it at the same time the interior button is for when someone is back there to open it unless its supposed to pop open when you press it i believe thats how they are
No gr8, this is NOT how it is supposed to be... When you push the button, it is supposed to 'pop' the latch at the rear window, atleast that is how it is supposed to work in your year... With the '94 it may just unlock the window to where you would still have to turn the latch to release it.
Sounds like there is a problem with the latch or the solenoid inside the rear gate. Can you get the window open? If so, you'll need to pull the interior trim panel and check out what is going on inside the gate with the latch.
