Default Autozone code reader

Wife took her 2000 Blazer to autozone to get the check engine light read, she says it's been running like crap and hesitating.and the guy told her it was the evap emissions sensor. My question is, what is it and how do I fix it. Also last week we had the fuel pump replaced.. would that have any effect on why it's running bad now, because it ran fine before the pump went out..

Well get us that code, and we can go from there. There are more than one evap codes, so we will need the one pulled from your truck. Also I would get the fuel pressure checked, and replace the fuel filter too. HTH
