Default Broke hazard switch

Well I have a 1996 blazer and the emergency hazard switch broke and popped out.I didn't worry about replacing it until recently when my blazer started acting up.Any time I would hit a bump either my hazards would turn on or my blinkers would stop working. So I tapped the broken switch into the hole and it stopped...for a day or so...and now my break lights wont work sometimes unless I push down on the hazard switch or my turn signals wont work(found these two out while doing a convoy trip with some friends and they called and pointed it out while driving behind me).Needless to say it finally irritated me so I called the dealership and asked them how much a replacement switch would cost...they told me I was not able to just buy the switch and would have to buy the entire rod that had the turn signals, wiper blades, and cruise control on it for $250...so now to the reason why I am here....There has to be a cheaper way to fix this.So if anyone could provide me with any kind of help on getting my problem solved for much cheaper I would really appreciate it.

you can pick up just the hazard switch from your local GM dealer for $15. just search for a writeup on how to replace it(very easy)

Does anyone have the part number for a 95? I broke my red hazzard button and need a new one. I called the dealership and it sounded like a young kid and he told me $210. Or if anyone has one for sale or know where i could get one online. I would greatly appreciate it.
