Default engine keeps dying

My 2000 blazer has a new fuel pump and new hardware, i changed the plugs and wires .changed the air filter.put high octane gas in it.put fuel injector cleaner in it. changed the oil. double checked the battery and connections. and it will sputter at random and die out. when this happens i get NO check engine light ,sometimes i do but its rare. my voltage gage on the dash board shows everything looks normal, my engine oil pressure looks normal.someone told me it could be my e.g.r valve. one last thing, for some odd reason it take forever for the heat to warm up.i usually freeze before i get where i'm going, i checked the fluid resivour and keep it full with the proper mixture...as far as the e.g.r. valve...i have no clue what that is or what it does or where to look for it. any help at all would be great , thank you for you time.

You could also turn the key on and vent the fuel line at the fuel pressure test port until fuel spurts out. Wrap a rag around a small screwdriver and press down on the shrader valve while someone else turns the key to the 'RUN' position. Both this method and the one mentioned above will net the same results.
