replacing fan belt?
is it easy to replace a fan belt? Is it something I could do on my own? If it is, how?

RE: replacing fan belt?
Yes, quite easy. First, make sure you have a belt routing schematic under the hood somewhere. If not, then get out a pad and pen and draw it. Then just relieve the belt tension by moving the spring tensioner with either a wrench or a breaker bar and pull out the old belt. Fish in the new belt and again, move the tensioner to get the belt under it.

I've seen that sticker when I last looked. Sounds easy enough. I like to try to save myself the labor charges with anything I can do myself. Thanks bro.

No problem. Any questions or if you run into trouble, let us know!

that tensioner can be a real pain in the ***, so use a heavy 1/2 inch racthet or breaker bar and be carefull!

While you have the belt off, grab hole of the tensioner and check for any wear in it (front to rear). If it's worn this is the perfect time toreplace it.
