Default Which sensor is this?

Would someone please tell me what sensor this is? Obviously I need to buy a new pigtail for the sensor.

It's amazing what you will find AFTER degreasing a 14 year old vehicle!

Isn't it the crank positioning sensor (CPS)? It sure looks like it.

i think it is. and look at the wiring at the connector,id say you need to fix that before you run into that issue 40000000000 miles from home.

Sorry, it's near the front of the engine right in front of the oil pan.

Thanks again guys. Looks like I need to get a new pigtail and sensor.

Oh, is there something I need to be aware of when I change out the sensor (like the position of something)?
