went and started the aircon again it worked, i realised the compressor where it spins for the aircon wasnt spinning, after couple of on and off it started spinning. we checked the pulg where the compressor is it had no power. could this make it not click over to work?? how do you fix it?

Most likely the refrigerant is low. The pressure switches shut down the power to the compressor if this is the case. After you let it sit awhile, the pressure equalizes and it will work again, for a little while anyway.
Holy quadruple post Batman!
I also will vote for low on refrigerant. As stated above, it will not cycle if it is low. There are gauges available to check it, or just buy a can with the gauges and CAREFULLY check/add it. Be careful connect to the correct port (low side), you don't want to mess with the high side.
