Default 01 Blazer Window Motor Help

i am replacing driver side power window motor. can't figger out how the big switch and a smaller one next to it unlatches from the switch console. don't want to ruin anything. the two other connectors were easy to get unlatched.

also any tips on how the motor comes out would be appreciated. alldata is not specific enough.

*EDIT by swartlkk* - Moved tech question out of member introduction post.

The regulator is attached to the door frame with rivets. The motor is attached to the regulator with rivets. What some people have done is drill holes in the door frame to gain access to drill the rivets out between the motor and the regulator so you do not have to remove the window and regulator as the book suggests. You will need to drill a hole through the regulator and sector gear to restrain the tension in the regulator that aides the motor in pushing the window back up. With this hole drilled, insert a bolt or suitable pin through the hole, then proceed to drill out the rivets holding on the motor.
