Hey everyone, Iv got a s10 chevy blazer with the v6. The problem is that it cranks but dosnt start untill i pump the gas pedal once or twice. I know that they are notorious for there their spider fuel injection system to fail but i heard ( and seen) that most of the time its because one of the poppet nossels goes bad so it causes a misfire, not the problem i stated above. My question is what would be the most likely cause of this specific symptom. I havnt tested fuel system pressure yet because i need to buy a guage but i will be this coming weekend.
thanks

Im having the same problem in my 97 jimmy. But it only does it sometimes. Other times it fires like a champ. So im not sure what to do about it. Let me know if you find anything out!

Pumping the throttle on a fuel injected vehicle typically alleviates a rich condition. A fuel leak internal to the plenum could be the cause for the rich condition. The fuel pressure test should give you a direction to head in.
