OK get two. Ha!
I did not know you were running a blower. How is the fuel economy on that?
If you parked it for a week the savings might let you buy the other truck!
Your speaking like it's way to shaky when the mods were done did someone change the cam?

Woah, where did you get that from?
It's just a bone stock 1995 4wd 4.3 Blazer with a salvage tile that has been in 2 minor accidents and neglected by a high school kid all before I got it. I got it 5 years ago with just under 130K and it should turn over to 150K miles today on the way home. So far I've rebuilt everything but the brakes, engine, transfer case and front/rear axles. Brakes(lines/hoses/calipers/cylinders) and front/rear axle(seals/oil) are on the list for this spring though. The body is a little rough but so far it has not left me on the side of the road.
In my early 30's is the age where loading concrete blocks and bags into and sheetrock or plywood onto the roof of a lifted Blazer is not high on my list of things to do if I don't have to.

" way. I tried a 500 mile trip to Colorado once but the GTP decided to throw the supercharger belt around all the accessory pulleys"
Misinterpreted to me supercharger belt tells me your running a blower.
This may sound really stupid, I am dyslexic and reading is hard.
Did you ever pull and clean the EGR.
Take a 8 inch 1/4 extension and a hammer and bang the hell around and on the EGR.
Bet you she will stop shaking.
When I first got mine, that was the main cause of the intermittent shaky as hell motor.

LOL. GTP is a supercharged Pontiac Grand Prix. I was just illistrating that nothing I own is 100% reliable. I'd like to take my Firebird on a roadtrip but earplugs, unburnt fuel fumes and gas stations would get old after a while.
The Blazer is not shakey anymore. I have a hard time leaving a thread and sort of continnue on with the next problem that shows up after one is sort of resolved.
I pulled the EGR a couple years ago when I did the intake gaskets. That was the first thing I checked(still clean as the day I hosed it down with carb cleaner) and now I cross threaded one of the bolts into the intake so that's in there for good until the intake comes off again... hopefully never.
It was idling rough because I believe one of the spider poppets was randomly hanging open and flooding out a cylinder. Then it would clear and fire a few times before repeating. So it was random as far as how it would act. So far after "cleaning" the poppet valves the idle has smoothed out and no longer smells of raw fuel all the time.

One of the junk yard dog way's of telling if a poppet is hanging is to sniff the oil.
It should never smell of gas, only Texas crude.
By the way was that Pontiac with the blower fun to drive, when it worked. Bet it was!

It still runs. Stock it will go from 55 to 100 fast enough to pass 4 cars in a row on a 2 lane highway... not the smartest thing I've done. Trying to get it ready to sell though.
I'm going to toy with the Blazer TPS this weekend and see if it helps any... I sort of made it adjustable back when it was running really bad.
