Engine is making a very rough knocking noise seems to come from transfer case, oil pan area. Idle is sparatic and almost stalls out. Check engine light obviosly is on.

Seems oil pressure is quite high on the gauge. New oil, filter a couple months ago.

I think there is a rod issue. But before I start ordering parts or engines i was hoping that you guys would have advice. Could it be something simple here or am i grasping at straws that dont exist.
