I have a 1995 Chevy Blazer. Today I came out to my car to see that the driver side mirror had been forcibly moved and was very loose at the pivot area. I was able to lift the mirror off of the mount (wires are still connected, and the base is still secure to the car), but the spring fell out and when I place the mirror back on the post, it is very loose. I tried inserting the spring in a couple different places, but nothing worked. I am wondering if anyone around here has had the same problem, or knows the correct way to reassemble the mirror.
