1995 ideling problem

Default 1995 ideling problem

I have a 1995 chevy blazer 4.3 vortec 4X4 4 door , I starts ok and runs fine when rpm are held at 1200 or higer but it will not ideal at all. What should i look at all plug are gaped correct and new plug any ideas

Test the fuel pressure. A small leak at the fuel pressure regulator or at one of the internal lines could cause an idle problem.

Also check/clean the EGR valve. If it were leaking, it could cause a poor idle problem.

swartikk what about the iac valve? that could be cleaned too that what made my truck idle bad =/

Wouldn't hurt to clean/check that as well.

55 with the engine off 50 with it running . it should hold 55 for 10 mins or so

^^ meaning when you turn the key on,it should be 55-60 psi. Let it sit for 10 minutes. if it dropped below 50 then you found the issue.

It wasn't a dumb comment, it was correcting information that was in error given previously.

I did the furel chekc pressuree holds steady at 58 and does not drop EGR is actuall fairly new and cleaned and also cleaned the ideal idle control valve any other ideas
