Default 1995 Jimmy want to swap motor to 2000

I have a 95 Jimmy 4x4 thats on its last leg, I was looking for used motors on eBay and the net but could only find low milage motors from 2000 and 2001.

Could I swap my parts over to a 2000 or 2001 motor or is everything different?

Im looking for an easy swap so I was hoping only the exhaust manifolds and intake would need to be swapped over. Please let me know if this is not the case.
Thanks

I am not sure but I do know the 2000 engine uses metric bolts for the oil pan and bellhousing bolts instead of SAE like the 95.

If the engine will work you might need to swap oil pans, leaving your oil pan bellhousing bolts sae and the block bellhousing bolts metric.

Does anyone know if the pans are different and if they are does anyone know if they have the same bolt pattern?

Thanks

The pans are most definitely different. '95 = stamped steel. '00 = cast aluminum. Not sure about the bolt pattern.

For all these headaches, why not find the appropriate motor. I know that '95 is quite restricted in terms of what you can use, but rather than screw around trying to make something else work...
