whats going on ppls
I have a 1995 chevy blazer 4x4 with a 4.3 cpi and 4L60e trans.
I want to know if i can put a V8 vortec in my blazer and what mods I would have to make or parts that would need to be changed.

This should give you a good idea: V8 swap

This person did a LOT of extra things that you wont need, but to start you need the new wiring harness, new motor mounts, i think a different oil pan and some other small things. It should also bolt right up to the trans.

Yeah the v8 will bolt up to your trans. U will need a custom oilpan to clear the front diff unless you havr a suspention lift with diff drop installed. You can use a vortec from the same genre like a 94-96 vortec. You will have fan interference too so use e-fans. Its possible, and lots of guys have done the swap. Have fun and good luck. Oh, and the pcm to control the injectors, and motor mounts. There is mount kits available online. And you only need to mod your harness, not swap it all out.
