1995 wheel bearings
I am looking to replace my wife's wheel bearings in her 1995 2wd 4door blazer. Should I replace just the bearings or the complete hubs? The abs light is on and these appear to have a built in abs sensor. When I look for hub assemblies they are either for 4wd or AWD.
On my silverado if you use 4wd hubs on a 2wd you'll have problems. Does that apply here? Any and all help is appreciated.
Yes I searched but only thing I can find is just to "use the 4wd tech article"

I am not 100% sure about this but I don't think you can get the bearings separately. The 4WD bearing/hub assembly won't work on a 2WD because there is no axle to hold tension on the bearings. They may bolt in but they will fail very quickly.
I actually found out that the rotor and hub is one assembly which is why I couldn't find it online. Roughly $31 at oriellys. They do NOT Come with bearings though. I will be buying the rotor/hub assembly and new bearings instead of trying to fight the old rusted stuff. I will post part numbers and pictures when I do since there is very little info on 2wd blazers for some reason.
1995 ABS tone ring is part of the hub. The front wheel speed sensors are serviced with the dust shield, and they are side sensitive. The rotor must be removed to replace the shield on 2WD & 4WD.
