Default 1996 LT AWD Transfer Case

How do I know what transfer case I need to replace the one I have now? I'm getting ridiculous replacement numbers for rebuilt...$1600. I just want to find a used transfer case.

The transfer case will have an identification tag on it somewhere. It should be a BW4472.
