My 1997 Blazer died and would not start I had it towed home and began to check things out. After 3 days of frustration I finally got it running. I am writing this post because I think that the problem I found is common and not that hard to fix. There is a blowby pipe that goes from the back of the throttle body to the right side of the engine. This metal pipe goes right over the distributor and on mine was in contact with the coil wire thus robbing the engine of spark. However once I corrected this I had to reset the computer before it would start by removing the positive batery cable for 1 hour. The research that I did here and other places let me to fuel pump, egr module icm modul, fuel filter ect.
Please check this first. Hope this helps some one.
