1998 chevy blazer 4x4 problem ..please help
hey guys.. just need a lil help on what might be goin on i replaced actuator under battery, acuator cable, vaccum switch on top of transfer case, switch in dash..got plenty of vaccum and it seems like its goin in 4 wheel drive..but its not...any suggestions would be helpful....???
These tests are for your 3 button, NV233 transfer case.
Engine at idle, transmission in park or neutral, select 2HI, raise only the right, (passenger side) front wheel off the ground:
There should be zero vacuum at the actuator under the battery, the right front wheel should rotate freely by hand, and the front driveshaft should rotate freely by hand.
Select 4HI: there should be full vacuum, (approx 18" Hg) at the actuator under the battery, the right front wheel, and the front driveshaft, should not rotate by hand. Post the results of each test.
