1999 Blazer 4x4
Truck died the other day.... Since then I took off the out line from the fuel filter and turned the key and gas shot out...
I check all fuses, replaced the distrib cap and rotor, coil is getting spark, alt and battery replaced also and same thing... I turn the key and the engine turns but won't start. With the distrib cap off I turned the key and rotor turned so the timing belt is fine...
Anyone have any ideas??? I am thiniking it might be the fuel pressure reg??

With fuel, pressure is where it's at, not just flow. This needs to be checked with a fuel pressure gauge at the fuel pressure test port up on the engine. 60+psi is required. I would suspect a fuel supply problem. Test the pressure and let us know.
