2 keys for 98 blazer ls?

2 keys for 98 blazer ls?
didnt these trucks come with one key that opens the door and starts the truck? i got 2 keys when i bought mine one for doors one for ignition, also neither key works in the rear glass lock. where these locks changed? i recently worked on my freinds 97 jimmy and she had one key that works in both thats what made me question my two keys
